Ok. Me too!

Q: If you could have dinner with your favorite book character, who would you eat with and what would you serve?

hmmm...this is hard to say for me. I don't have ONE favorite go to character that I can refer to. I'd much rather meet with the author  of the character than the character.

Q: What is your favorite Halloween costume? Even if you don't celebrate, what kind of costumes do you like?

Remember in elementary school when they allowed you to dress up in your costume and parade around the school parking lot? I do and I remember one year I was a bride - Nice white little dress. Then the following year I was a Dead Bride. Same white dress just dirtied up. LOL. I was a way creative child with quite an imagination.

Q: Spooktacular Reads: Which books do you consider festive Halloween reads? Which stories have chilled you to the bone?

Um. Hello. My Name is Patricia and I'm a CHICKEN!
I don't watch scary movies, I don't read horror books -- I do NOT enjoy that feeling of being scared.
NOT-AT-ALL.  That being said ... I have not read any festive halloween books. I do not want to be chilled to my bones. I'd prefer to feel warm and fuzzy :).

What about you? What was/is your favorite costume?
And have you read any stories that chilled you to the bone?

  1. Choosing a character was difficult. I too would love to have dinner with the authors who created some of the characters I love. Thank you for stopping my my blog.

  2. I think your the first person to say an author instead of a character, but at least this way you can ask them all the things you ever wanted to know about your favourite book/ series.
    Thanks for visiting.

  3. I had a princess dress my grandmother made for me one year. I dressed up in it until I grew out of it. I remember wearing it to school on Halloween.

  6. haha, I have read a few scary stories this year. Usually a big 'chicken' as well. Def. had to stop reading one night and switch to a trashy romance to clear my mind of the ghosts! But I'd suggest The Poisoned House...scary but still really good!

  11. That's a great costume you had. Along the same lines, my favorite costume was when I was in grade seven and I was the Bride of Frankenstein.

  12. I don't like reading scary books either. The only scary books I read I was Goosebumps in middle school. I didn't think they were scary, though. Happy FF!

  13. I couldn't chose a character, either!
I remembr those parades at the school--except we walked around the gym, and the parents all stood in the middle. Now that I think about it, it was kind of weird!

  18. Thanks for dropping by! :D I also had a hard time thinking who would I have for dinner that I practically stood before the bookshelf and gazed at the books and lo, I found the character. :D Of course, seeing the small scale-sized Minas Tirith reminded me. :D Hmm, Halloween costume? When I was kid, I always opted for the Casper so basically the whitest blanket I can find in the house and pulled it over me. lolz I also don't like reading scary books but the spook me back when I was younger, was "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and reading it under candlelight just made the experience too creepy.

  19. I honestly used to get easily scared (and sometimes I still do), but for the most part, I enjoy feeling frightened every now and then. Happy Friday!

  20. Eating with the author who created the awesome characters would be even better you are right but how about that author brings along her sexy male characters for the night? so we can really see her work XD

Lol, you sure had an imagination & but recycling into use!!!! You experienced a divorce after that bride year :p

I don't read a lot of creep/scary books and because I'm scared, I just prefer cute and heartwarming!

  24. *rofl* Dirtied-up bride! I love it! Yeah, I remember when I was in elementary and we used to do a long march all the way around the school, play Halloween games and have parties. Loads of fun! Now things aren't so elaborate xD

  25. I'm ok with semi scary stories...but I have a huge problem with gore and therefore have never watched or read most of the common Halloween stories!!
