Q:  If you could pick one character in a book, movie or television show to swap places with, who would it be?

Oh. Good Question.
Can I say Oprah? She was on television.
I mean that's the most obvious choice for me.
If not - the I'd switch places "DG" from Tin Man
Or Blair from Gossip Girl.
Or Leslie Wright (Queen Latifah) from Just Right.

Can you tell I watch a lot of television? and movies?
I would have to think harder for who I'd swap places with in a book.
I'll get back to you on that one.

Q: To-Be-Read's: How big is your pile? Which book keeps getting pushed down the stack, but you keep meaning to read it?

Well ... I only have 26 books marked as TBR on my goodreads list. BUT I have stacks of books at home -- under my bed, in baskets (I don't have a bookshelf), in boxes and some in storage that I've been meaning to read. I also have scraps of papers all around with book titles scribbled down that I have "made a note" to read eventually.  I would say I easily have 50 books in addition to my 26 on my TBR pile.
The book (actually series) that I keep meaning to read/finish is the Sookie Stackhouse books.

I've read 6 of the books so far. And I've started book 7 but I just keep putting it back down to pick up other books. I already own all the books (except for the latest) so it's not like I don't have access to them. And I do enjoy reading them. But there's so many other things I've been getting into lately. One day I WILL finish reading this series ... one day.

What's the one book you keep meaning to read?
Let me know - that way I can add it to my TBR list too :)

  2. you are about where I was in the Sookie series where I stopped LOVING them. They became a shell of their former self. It took me a MONTH to finish book 7. I just wasn't as into it. The next book is just as bad.

  9. I loved Tin Man! I can understand why you'd want to switch with DG, she was so awesome! I have yet to read any of the Sookie Stackhouse series even though I'm a little obsessed with True Blood.

    Congratulations on 100 posts! :)

Actually yes, Sookie for me as well. I bought the box books 1-9 at Christmas last year and I've managed 1-3 and won 10 and 11, but just haven't had time to get through them all yet. I really want to though and it bugs me! I'd also like the US covers because BLEGH tv tie-in covers.

  23. shut the flip up, you liked Tin Man too?!?!! I am so glad. My husband totally made fun of me for liking it (I might have re-watched it on Netflix instant play recently). I'm so glad to know you are a nerd like me!
