Confess your blogger sins! Is there anything as a newbie blogger that you’ve done, that as you gained more experience you were like — oops?
I think my biggest newbie blogger mistakes was...writing corny/dumb post and not really being "ME".
In the begining I had some really dumb posts...like "ode to my running shoes". I SWEAR! I'm embarrassed to just think about it.
And I was totally random with my post. It took awhile before I got my momentum going.
I didn't have my niche.
Now I do (aka a pattern of randomness).
Now I enjoy my blog!
I hope others enjoy it too!
What's your biggest whoopsie you made as a new blogger?!

I like your blog. And I like you. The end ;)
ReplyDeleteI can so relate, but I look at it as I tried different things until I found what works for me. I know I don't want to blog about books only - and actually you inspired me to do that with your crochet posts alongside your bookish stuff. And I don't even crochet :-)

It's hard to decide what to post and when...
ReplyDeleteWhen you ar a newbie and don't know a thing about blogging your post can be a bit embarrasing :)
Anyway, I like your blog :)
I'm not participating in this week F&F but you can visit my blog anyway :)

Come check out my FF Post!
I'm still discovering what's going to work. For example last week I put up a post and nobody looked at it. I was planning on making it a weekly thing, but clearly that won't work. I never tried to put in anything too personal like and ode to running shoes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!

Ha ha! Kay, I have to say that I've been blogging for 5+ years and I still don't feel like I have a pattern to my randomness and I still write odes to my shoes (or things like it). But, recently, my blog has been more bookish, so maybe I'm finally getting into more of a nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
LOL, Ode to my Shoes sounds awesome :)
