Heard the high-pitched scream and reacted instinctively: throwing out a long arm, he seized a fistful of cloth and flesh; a second shriek of pain echoed around the stone walls, and then, with a wrench and a tussle, he succeeded in dragging the girl back on to firm ground."

  3. Ohhh.... I wanna read this, too, maybe because the author's identity was revealed recently; I wanna read this because I want to compare Robert Galbraith's writing style to JK Rowling's. :)

  6. I'm a bit turned off of the book simply because of the whole JK Rowling thing. I don't know why, but after Harry Potter I just don't want to read her stuff.

  13. I don't usually read mysteries, but some day I'd like to be able to say I've read all of Rowling's books. I think I'll give this one a shot.
