Teaser Tuesday ::: Go Set a Watchman

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme,
hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm

{via}
“What would Atticus do?” passed through her unconscious; she never realized what made her dig in her feet and stand firm whenever she did was her father; that whatever was decent and of good report in her character was put there by her father; she did not know that she worshiped him.”

What do you think?

Will you be reading this one?

What are you reading this week?

  1. I'm on the fence about reading this one...not sure I want to taint my good memories of To Kill a Mockingbird!

  2. Lovely teaser. And I'm still unsure about whether I'll read this. I'll probably give it a go at some point. Curiosity, ya know:)

  3. I saw this on goodreads (or maybe amazon) when I was looking for a new book, but I saw you don't really love it, so Im glad I didn't get it.

  4. I still have never read To Kill a Mockingbird. I think that one would have to come first. My teaser this week comes from Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews. Happy reading!

  5. I've never read Mockingbird, so would probably be lost- but this seems to be huge, right now. I hope it's awesome. And Reese Witherspoon seems like she would be good narrator.

  7. Love this teaser! It's been so long since I read To Kill a Mockingbird so I may have to re-read that first :)

  8. I do like the teaser you shared. Like so many others have said, I am not sure I want to read this one, but I am enjoying reading the various opinions coming out about it though. It's certainly stirred up a lot of discussion--and that's always a good thing.

  9. I will probably read this at some point. I read Mockingbird over fifty years ago and was too young to catch onto the social aspects so I'm not worried about spoiling any memories of Atticus.

  10. Ooh that's a lovely quote, completely fits with my picture of Scout and Atticus from just reading To Kill A Mockingbird - although I've heard this book kind of spoils that image of Atticus. I'm undecided whether I will read but thanks for sharing & for visiting my TT :)

  12. Love your teaser. I read To Kill a Mockingbird in high school, I just might give this a try to see if it is just as good. Here is my TT

  13. I'm about 2/3 of the way through now. I put up a brief commentary about the first third on my blog a day or so ago. Nothing startling or illuminating I fear, just my reactions. So far, I'm impressed.
