Is There Such Thing As TOO BIG?

Is there such a thing as too big ... when it comes too infinity scarves? I finished this bad boy a couple weeks ago and it's HUGE!

That's wrapped twice ... But I can get it around THREE times!

It's so cold these days around in these parts - so I want to cover every inch of my body as possible!

I do love it! Tempted to make myself a second one!

What do you think? Too Big? Too small? Or Just right?

Teaser Tuesday ::: The Girl on the Train

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme,
hosted by MizB of Should be Reading.

"Let's be honest: women are still only really valued for two things—their looks and their role as mothers.”

What do you think?
True?
 False?
 Maybe both?

Five on Friday

TGIF! Right?
As I figured would happen - I'm feeling a bit sick today. Sore throat and a throbbing in my temples. Hopefully this passes quick! I'm too tired to be sick!

One:
My current read is annoying me.
I'm audiobooking The Girl on the Train and some parts are good and some parts just drive me bananas. I think it's because it's quite reminiscent of Gone Girl which was good(ish) but not one of my favorite reads.

Two:
Chipotle out the waa-zoo.
Earlier this week Troy brought home a shit ton of chipotle. I should've taken a picture for you folks! There were burritos and tacos galore! I've managed to stuff my face with quite a bit of it but had plenty to share with co-workers and with my mom. Some girls get nice fancy presents from their lovers - this girl gets chipotle. LOL

Three:
Baby shower planning.
I am throwing a baby shower for my pal Ashby...I have never thrown a shower all on my own before. I'm quite worried about how it's going to turn out. I considered having it at my house - but I think my condo is way to small for the amount of people that will be invited (and do I really feel like cleaning before and after the party - probably not). I've decided on a private room at Brio for a brunch. I got the room booked and the date pinned down now I have to do all the rest of the planning. Hopefully this turns out decent/fun. I don't want anyone talking about how tacky it was in the end.

Four:
Taxes.
I've pretty much finished up my taxes - except for officially filing them. I'm not too happy with the end result - my own fault though. I took money out of my IRA during the time I was preparing to buy my first place and during the process of buying my first place. If you've ever taken money out of your IRA you know they tax the hell out of it + some more. So I'm suffering from that. I was hoping to get a refund back to stack my savings and pay for the baby shower - but that won't be happening.

Five:
I'm addicted.
...to Vampire Diaries. I know. You're asking yourself "is it 2010?!" but no. I wanted to catch up on the show but I couldn't remember where I left off, so naturally I started from season 1 and have been watching at least two episodes every day since last weekend. It's so good. I love this whole teenage vampire love stuff.

That's it for today! What's on your Friday Five list?

Loved, Liked and Learned #5

TGIF. I can't believe that it's FRI-YAY. This week dragged like a mo-fo but it also seemed to fly right by me.

LOVED this week:

::: That I got to treat my mom to a super delicious birthday dinner at Founding Farmers. Have you ever been to that place? I've never had anything there that wasn't good.

::: Ashby sent my mom flowers for her bday and signed the card "From your favorite daughter." and my mom thought I sent them. LOL. I almost took credit for it.

LIKED this week:

::: Troy and are on a movie kick lately. We watched John Wick and I actually really enjoyed it. I started looking up the "Sad Keanu" memes after watching the movie and I couldn't stop laughing. Go ahead - take 5 minutes and google Sad Keanu.

::: Sent my stepmom some flowers for her birthday and I LIKE that they got there on time (barely - who delivers flowers at 8pm?!) but they are not that cute (at least it was cuter online - she loves sunflowers):

LEARNED this week:

::: That my information may be compromised do that to stupid Anthem hack. WTF. How annoying is it to have to worry about my social security number, birthday and address being out there for the taking - AND right around tax time? UGH

::: How much my manager makes on a non-commission/bonus pay period. The guy had his pay check face up on his desk when he called me in to look at something on his computer. When he noticed me noticing it he goes "WHY did you tell me that was there?!" uh - who keeps their paycheck out on their desk anyway?!
